FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pipes to be bent are fixed at one of ends, and bending is carried out by a machine bending head. During the bending, pipe bending zone is additionally subjected to twisting by applying of twisting moment that is from 0.1 to 0.75 of limiting twisting deformation for pipe material.
EFFECT: twisting machine for pipes bending is equipped with a gear motor and a guide device placed on a carriage, made in form of a housing which houses a worm gear, a worm wheel of which is secured to a collet chuck, and a worm is cinematically connected to said gear motor.
