SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to couplings. Elastic compensating coupling contains two flange elements connected by elastic elements in the form of plates attached circumferentially to each of them. Flanged elements have different diameters. Elastic elements are made of spring steel in the form of trapezoidal plates. In the axial hole of at least one of the flange elements installed device for attachment to the shaft, made with the possibility of eliminating backlash.
