FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Driven parking brake for the locomotive brakes locks the brake circuit in a locked position after the brake cylinder has pressed the locomotive brakes. Computer controlled brake system is connected to the brake cylinder and the stopper, and is also programmed to install the stopper in the locked position when the brake cylinder has moved the locomotive brake to the pressed position. Drive is connected to the brake chain to create tension in the brake chain as the brake chain moves between the first and second positions. Drive contains a motor or a tension cylinder, which creates tension in the brake chain after the brakes are pressed.
EFFECT: simplified design and improved brake reliability.
