FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wearable electronic devices, which allow the visually impaired and blind people to facilitate the process of orientation in space. Spatial orientation device for visually impaired and blind people contains receiving and transmitting parts, two electrically interconnected identical radar distance sensors to a continuous-mode obstacle, designed to be fixed on the right and left sides of a human head, which together form a spatially separated radar system, each radar sensor for the distance to an obstacle consists of a microwave antenna with a wide radiation pattern, a transceiver module and a headset, the radiation patterns of the antennas of the radar distance sensors to the obstacles have an intersection area in the forward hemisphere of view, and the receiving and transmitting modules of the radar range sensors to the obstacle are synchronized in frequency.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity, reduced size, simplified design and use.
