FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: use: for the manufacture of rotors of superconducting cryogenic gyros. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the method of manufacturing a spherical rotor of a cryogenic gyroscope includes the formation of a spherical substrate, coating a substrate with a superconducting niobium coating by electrochemical melt precipitation of alkali metal halides and a niobium salt using a soluble anode and a rotating cathode and mechanical polishing of the surface of the superconducting coating, at the same time, uglesitall is used as the material of the rotor substrate; before applying the superconducting coating on the spherical substrate, an annular cut is performed along its equator, electrochemical deposition of a superconducting coating is carried out at a cathode current density of 100–300 A/m2, temperature 700–850 °C and the speed of rotation of the cathode 30–40 rpm, and after mechanical polishing of the surface of the superconducting coating on it is applied an oxide film of niobium.
EFFECT: technical result: providing the possibility of improving manufacturability and reducing the mass and dimensions of the rotor and gyroscope while ensuring high superconducting characteristics of the rotor.
