SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply systems of vehicles, mainly aircraft. Hydrodynamic drive-generator contains alternator (5) generator, control unit (7) and a hydrodynamic torque converter (1) communicated at the input with a channel (19) for supplying fuel to the fuel injection system of a vehicle engine used as a working fluid. the hydrodynamic converter (1) has a pumping wheel (2), kinematically connected with the shaft (3) of the vehicle engine, and a turbine wheel (4), kinematically connected with the rotor of the generator (5). Pump wheel (2) and the turbine wheel (4) are kinematically connected to each other via a disengaged clutch.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the heating of fuel by a driven generator.
