FIELD: ironing.
SUBSTANCE: household appliance containing iron (1) and portable base (2) having stand (21A) for arrangement of iron (1), while iron (1) has sole (10), above which there is a housing containing a hanging part protruding sole (10), base (2) contains means for fixing iron (1) on stand (21A), allowing to transfer the entire device by handle (11) of iron (1), characterized in that the fixing means contain retaining element (22A) that is inserted into recess (13) of reciprocal form, provided on the lower surface of the overhanging part of iron (1) body protruding behind sole (10), the specified retaining element (22A) is hidden by iron (1) when iron (1) is on stand (21A) of base (2).
EFFECT: object of the present invention is to overcome by providing a household appliance these drawbacks, the home appliance comprising an iron and a portable base, said mobile base comprising locations for placing iron, wherein for fixing the fixed iron while less reliable mechanism volume.
