SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine medicine and is a method for determining individual resistance of divers to decompression illness (DI) in terms of renal function, including the determination of the renal functional activity index (RFAI), the index of the volume-regulating renal activity (VRAI) and the index of the renal kaliuretic activity (RKAI), after which the stability of divers to DI is additionally calculated by the formula: resistance to DI=0.34+0.17×RFAI+0.74×VRAI+0.1×RKAI; and with a resistance value of up to 1.5, divers are classified as unstable, from 1.51 to 2.5 – to the group of moderately resistant and from 2.51 and more to the group of highly resistant to DI.
EFFECT: invention provides improved accuracy of assessment of individual resistance to DI.
