FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to marine medicine, and can be used in diving medicine to determine degree of individual resistance to hypoxic hypoxia (HHI). Proposed method for determining the degree of individual diver resistance to hypoxic hypoxia by renal function indicators is characterized by the fact that the renal functional activity index (RFAI) is determined, calcium uretic renal function index (CRFI) and potassium-uretic renal activity index (PRAI) after corresponding loading tests, which, in turn, method involves 10-minute breathing of 10 % oxygen-nitrogen hypoxic mixture. That is followed by calculating a formula for determining the hypoxic hypoxia (HHI) resistance of the divers to the renal function indicators: resistance to HHI=0.22×RFAI+0.18×CRFI+0.20×PRAI. If the resistance to HHI is up to 1.5, the diver is referred to the group unstable to HHI, from 1.51 to 2.5 – to the group of medium-stable, and from 2.51 and more – to the group highly resistant to HHI.
EFFECT: using the method enables determining the individual diver's resistance to hypoxic hypoxia by renal function indicators.
