Method of obtaining a dry extract of medicinal plants for feed additives for farm animals and poultry, the raw material to be extracted is pre-crushed, the crushed raw material is moistened in 30–40 % water-ethanol solution for 8–12 hours in a hermetically sealed container, then a two-stage extraction is carried out at intensive boiling under vacuum, moreover, these stages of extraction are carried out by the action of 40 % water-ethanol solution at a temperature of extractant 35–45 °C and extraction module of 1 kg ÷ 4 liters, the third stage of extraction is carried out with distilled water with an extraction module of 1 kg ÷ 3 liters for 20 minutes, extracts are cleaned of insoluble impurities, combined and concentrated, the thick extract is dried at a temperature of not more than 45 °C in a vacuum contact infrared chamber to the final moisture content of the product is not more than 5 %.
EFFECT: above method reduces the consumption of reagents and the duration of the process, increases the yield of the target product with increasing quality of the target product.
