FIELD: feed industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fodder industry, namely to methods for obtaining dry extracts of herbs used as feed additive for farm animals and poultry feeding. Methods of producing herb extracts include grinding of Rhaponticum carthamoides, wetting in water-solution, first, two-stage water-ethanol extraction at intensive boiling under vacuum, and then extraction with distilled water, obtained extracts are combined and concentrated, dried extract is dried.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions enables to optimize modes of water-extraction and drying, reduce consumption of reagents and duration of the process, increase output of the end product and its quality, as well as reduce costs for subsequent cleaning, concentration and drying of the obtained product.
