FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, in particular to surgical dental instruments used in dental implantology, and can be used to process bone canals in the zygomatic bone before implanting posterior teeth. Cutter for final processing of the bone canal for implant placement includes a cylindrical proximal part and a flat distal part with sharp lateral edges and tip for accurate entry, the cutting edges of which have bevels for precise positioning. Proximal and distal parts have a smooth surface, and between the proximal and distal parts there is a transitional cone-shaped part with a wide part facing the proximal part.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to ensure the elimination of beating and vibration, ensuring the smooth introduction of the implant into the zygomatic bone having a complex anatomical shape, as well as good primary stability of the implant in different types of bone tissue.
