FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio industry and can be used in waveguide ultra-high frequency technology. Waveguide corner consists of input and output waveguides located at a right angle to one another. In the input and output waveguides from one to another spreads the ultra-high frequency signal of the main mode. Waveguide corner contains two reflectors, and the flat reflector of the input waveguide is inclined at an angle α to its narrow wall, and the reflector, made in the form of a tetrahedral straight prism, coincides with one face to the wide wall of the input waveguide, and the other with a wide wall of the output waveguide, and one of its bases coincides with a shorted end of the input waveguide. Second flat reflector is introduced into the input waveguide. Narrow walls of the input waveguide are angled ϕ to the plane of the wide wall of the output waveguide, where 135°<ϕ<180°. First flat reflector is inclined at an angle α=130°÷160° to the narrow wall of the input waveguide. Second flat reflector is located opposite the first, tilted at an angle φ to the opposite narrow wall of the input waveguide and coincides with one of the wide walls of the output waveguide, and the shorted end of the input waveguide is aligned with one of the narrow walls of the output waveguide. Length of the four-sided straight prism L<a2, where a2 – the size of the wide wall of the output waveguide.
EFFECT: possibility of turning the direction of propagation of the microwave signal.
