FIELD: microwave antenna-waveguide engineering. SUBSTANCE: waveguide corner has two orthogonally positioned rectangular waveguides (input and output ones) each incorporating tilted reflector. Narrow wall of input waveguide is integrated with wide wall of output one; tilted reflectors are chosen of as small size as possible and input-waveguide tilted reflectors are arranged so that they are facing each other in front of entrance in output waveguide. For matching waveguide corner with respect to standing- weave ratio including in case of different sectional areas of input and output waveguides, use is made of two tilted reflectors of definite dimensions adequately oriented and relatively positioned. Output- waveguide reflector is made in the form of truncated prism. For matching with respect to standing-wave ratio use is also made of gap between prism base and butt end of input waveguide as well as face of prism smoothly beveled towards input. Proposed waveguide corner provides for electromagnetic wave propagation turned through 90 deg. in plane H as well as in plane E, and transfer from input to output waveguide section without special waveguide-section transformer.
