SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in construction of starters for internal combustion engines of automobiles. Starter free-wheel clutch contains a gear mounted on the starter shaft with the possibility of moving it in the axial direction and an overrunning friction clutch. Specified clutch is provided with elements of communication of its driving and driven elements with the starter shaft and gear. Freewheel friction clutch incorporates at least one self-retracting spring. Specified spring contains areas of self-tightening on the leading and driven elements with a function of its coupling with the gear and/or made in one piece with the driving element of the friction clutch with a function of the coupling element with the starter shaft or with the driven member.
