SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to blocking device (4) for actuating a damper drive, at the same time, blocking device (4) can be transferred by activation from an inoperative state to an alternative activated state. Blocking device (4) contains movably mounted blocking element (41) and, in a blocking position, blocks output member (13) in a safety position. Further, blocking device (4) contains drive element (42), which, when blocking device (4) is activated, moves blocking element (41) to the blocking position. Further, the blocking device contains activating element (43), which, when the blocking temperature is exceeded, activates blocking device (4) by irreversibly changing its shape. Also a damper drive with a blocking device, a fire protection device and a method for operating such fire protection device are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability level of the damper drive in the case where it is required technically during longer fires due to constant high temperatures.
