FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a highly purified mixture of 15 free amino acids, obtained by the complete hydrolysis of collagen. Method of obtaining fully hydrolyzed collagen includes hydrolysis in the presence of hydrochloric acid at a temperature of +120–125 °C; sorption of collagen amino acids on medium crosslinked cation exchanger, for example KU-2-8; elution of amino acids and ammonia with 2N alkali; distilling ammonia from the eluate under vacuum; Neutralization and clarification of the amino acid solution on the ion-sorbent IA-4, according to the invention, a part of hydrochloric acid that is not chemically bound to amino acids, after the end of the hydrolysis is removed in the form of hydrogen chloride by vacuum distillation, the vapors of hydrogen chloride and water are absorbed in a closed cycle with cold water and the resulting hydrochloric acid is used in the process of collagen hydrolysis.
EFFECT: method allows to exclude the stage of neutralization of hydrochloric acid on anion exchanger of the type AN-31 in OH-form with its subsequent regeneration with an alkali solution, to reduce the amount of edematous water.
