FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of refining metals and alloys using electromagnetic forces. Device contains a ferromagnetic magnetic core, between the poles of an electromagnet of which a separation channel is made with parallel partitions located in it. Device contains electrodes and flow equalizers. Vertical partitions of conductive material placed with a gap relative to the bottom of the channel. Flow levers are installed at the locations of the edges of the core of the electromagnet, and the channel is made with inlet and outlet fittings and a drain hole.
EFFECT: device allows to increase the separation efficiency.
