SUBSTANCE: disc brake of a vehicle that has a braking force-generating pressure device from a power link, preferably a cylinder with a working fluid, and a pressure-boosting system, and a compensating device to compensate for the wear caused by the air gap of the brake. Components of the compensating device are rotatably mounted, actuated by means of a pressure device, the actuating element mounted for rotation on the same axis compensating element and transfer device located on the path of movement between the drive element and the compensating element. To create a vehicle brake equipped with a compensating device to compensate for the air gap caused by wear, for which the compensation is structurally simple and costs a small number of parts, the transfer device is made in the form of a helical twisted spring, which is supported along the first section of the spiral radially on the drive element, and along the second section of the helix - radially on the compensating element, while one radial bearing is only on the inside, and the other radial bearing is only on the outside of the coil spring.
EFFECT: provided is an adjusting device for adjusting the release play, caused by wear, vehicle brake in which the adjustment is simple design and requires only a few parts.
