FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foams based on polyethylene grafted with polydimethylsiloxane. Proposed foam containing a polymer matrix containing a polymerized siloxane grafted with polyethylene, where the polymerized siloxane has the formula (II) 
(II), where: R1=CH3 or C2H5; R2=CH3 or C2H5; 
m = 80–500; and n = 80–500, and many pores formed in the polymer matrix, and containing a foaming agent containing carbon dioxide, where the foam has a porosity of more than 75 %. Method for producing foam is also described.
EFFECT: technical result: obtained foam with a minimum content of impurities with a low attenuation coefficient.
