SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtering devices for the purification of liquid and gaseous media from mechanical impurities and can be applied on any object, industrial or economic, where the purification of liquids or gases is required. Filtering device for cleaning liquid and gaseous media from mechanical impurities includes a vertically oriented housing with a bottom and a lid, a filtering element installed inside the housing, at least one flushing fluid nozzle. Filter element is cylindrical in shape and is located along the length of the body coaxially with its longitudinal axis. Along the length of the filter element is placed a hollow element supplying washing fluid with the ability to move along the filter element by means of a linear actuator. At one end of the flushing fluid supply element, at least one high-pressure nozzle is placed, and the other end of the flushing fluid supply element is connected to the high-pressure pump through a hose for flushing liquid.

EFFECT: improving the efficiency of cleaning the filter element while reducing the flow of liquid for washing and the use of any liquid washing agent.
