FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Conjunctiva is incised, episcleral vessels are coagulated, a superficial scleral flap is cut out, a deep scleral flap is formed and removed. Further, a drainage hole is formed in the ciliary body by means of diode laser radiation until stable filtration from the posterior eye chamber appears. Drain hole is widened, a coloboma is formed in the iris root, a filtration zone is closed with a superficial scleral flap, interrupted sutures are applied on the sclera. In the lower hemisphere of an eyeball free from previous operations, contact transscleral diode-laser cyclophobic coagulation is carried out in a microimpulsive mode in a cyclic manner at 4 mm from the limb, with power of 1000 mW, operating cycle 31.3%, pulse duration 0.5 ms, period 1.1 ms. Exposure for one cycle is 10 s, the first exposure cycle is performed along a circular arc of 90 degrees in one direction. Second cycle along the same circle arc in the opposite direction. Following cycles are performed similarly to the first two, in total 8 cycles are performed. Episcleral vessels are coagulated by an ultrasonic diathermocoagulant, and a drainage hole is formed in the ciliary body with an output power of 0.4-0.5 W.

EFFECT: method enables preserving visual functions, compensating intraocular pressure by creating an additional intraocular fluid outflow pathway.
