SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for remote monitoring of a rail vehicle. Essence: the system includes stationary and mobile parts connected by internal and external communication channels. Stationary part is designed as central server (7). Mobile part is located on railway vehicle (1) and includes functional measuring units (5), central onboard computing unit (6), and additional control elements. Each functional measuring unit (5) consists of measuring transducers, a microcontroller, a clock, a power source, a position sensor in space, an internal temperature sensor, a communication unit, and a nonvolatile memory unit. Central onboard computing unit (6) contains a microcontroller, a clock, a power source, a position sensor in space, an internal temperature sensor, a communication unit, a nonvolatile memory unit, a global satellite navigation system module. Additional control elements (9) contain a microcontroller, a clock, a power source, a communication unit, an internal temperature sensor, a position sensor in space, a non-volatile memory unit.
EFFECT: increase the reliability and security of the system from external and internal failures.
