FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a turbomachine comprising fan shaft (12) driven by turbine shaft (16) by means of device (20) designed to reduce the rotational speed, and characterized in that it includes disconnecting means (28) located between gear reduction device (20) and turbine shaft (16), which is made with the possibility of disconnecting gear reduction device (20) from turbine shaft (16) in response to exceeding a certain moment of resistance acting from gear reduction device (20) on turbine shaft (16). Advantage is to create the possibility of avoiding any oversizing of the elements of gear reduction device (20) and turbine shaft (16) of the low-pressure, while ensuring the possibility of guaranteeing their resistance to such a torsion moment when exceeding a given moment of resistance, acting from the side of the gear reduction device, and, therefore, facilitate the design of the gear reduction device.
EFFECT: uncoupling is therefore an event provided as a response to the exceeding of a determined resistant torque exerted by the reduction device on the turbine shaft, that is conditioned by the exceeding of this resistant torque.
