FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine engineering and is intended for illuminating the underwater environment. To illuminate the underwater conditions include the search for underwater objects using passive radio-hydro-acoustic buoys, which are dropped from a ship or aircraft in the area where the submarine can be located. Submarine is detected by one or several radio-hydro-acoustic buoys and the information is transmitted via radio to a receiving device located on an aircraft, a ship or a coastal post. Exposed buoys control the ship, which is withdrawn from the line or field of buoys at a specified distance and translate it into a drift or anchor, reduce the noise of working mechanisms as much as possible, include a noise-finding station, periodically at a predetermined interval or at the appointed time they fire a jet depth bomb from a ship at a calculated point as an explosive sound source. They submerge it at a predetermined depth and undermine it, they receive a sound wave from an underwater explosion, whose location is known, and a wave reflected by the body of a breaking submarine, according to the arrival time of signals to receiving devices and their direction, calculate the target coordinates.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of illumination of the underwater situation is achieved when searching for low-noise enemy submarines in a given area.
