FIELD: pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: method of remote control of a pneumatic actuator of a main pipeline is applicable to the field of automation of control of pneumatic actuators of security or shut-off valves installed on main pipelines. Each solenoid valve (35, 36) of crane (34) is simultaneously controlled by at least two of three relays (4, 5, 6) for valve (35) and (7, 8, 9) for valve (36). Each relay closes two of the three parallel sections of valve control circuit (for valve (35) sections K4.1-K5.1, K5.2-K6.1, K4.2-K6.2; for valve (36) sections K7.1-K8.1, K8.2-K9.1, K7.2-K9.2). At each site there are two pairs of contacts from different relays. Neutralization of a false switch of crane (34) in case of a malfunction of control system (3) is ensured. Operability of control circuits in case of failure of one of the three relays is preserved. Control of the performance of control circuits is permanent. DC voltage source (2), the presence of an open circuit, a circuit or sticking of relay contacts (4–9) is controlled. For control, optocoupler (10–21) is connected to each relay (4–9) with normally open contacts. Control is carried out by continuous reading of logical signals from optocouplers. Signals come to controller (1), which compares them with the test signals. Efficiency is determined by the combination of read logical signals.

EFFECT: significantly improved the reliability of control of the crane and, as a result, increased trouble-free operation of main pipelines.
