FIELD: transport equipment.
SUBSTANCE: development of steering systems for automated and robotic transport equipment and aircraft, as well as remote-controlled power rotary mechanisms of stationary devices. The vehicle steering system comprises a steering wheel, a hydraulic system with a hydraulic pump and two hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic cylinders are made in the form of a power hydraulic system in a single housing and contain pistons with power carriers and are united by a total volume of working fluid between the pistons, distributing the force load on the carrier symmetrically in opposite directions. The system is additionally equipped for switching the direction of rotation with a spool with a traction relay, electrically controlled by turning the steering wheel to the contacts of the selected direction of movement, and the power moment of rotation and the rate of its change are controlled by a variable resistance in the excitation circuit of the hydraulic pump electric motor and controlled contact switching on the wheel by electromagnets.
EFFECT: creating a steering mechanism controlled manually or automatically by electrical signals without the use of mechanical force.
