SUBSTANCE: method of joining a metal element and a plastic element by overlaying these elements on each other and their connection due to the action of a laser beam from the side of the plastic element includes the following steps. Apply a plastic element and a glass element, through which the laser beam will pass, to the metal element in the specified order. Laser beam is applied from the side of the plastic element through the glass element to the junction zone in which the metal element and the plastic element are superimposed on each other. Connection speed ranges from 0.5 to 5.0 m/min. In this case, the glass element is positioned so as to prevent the creation of obstacles to the laser beam by the components evaporating from the plastic element due to the action of the laser beam.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is a high connection speed and ensuring high connection strength in the combined element.
