FIELD: hydropower engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hydroelectric power plant comprises two bodies 1, in which there are two chambers with inlet and outlet holes, two working and discharge mains connected to river bed, floats 28 installed in chambers. Working lines are interconnected with reservoirs 3, and offtake main line and outlets of chambers of both cases 1 - with bypass lines. Crankshafts 30 with flywheels 32 fixed thereon are connected by connecting rods 29 with floats 28 and gearing with electric generator. On outlet holes of chambers, discharge and working mains there installed are gates connected by rope systems with electric motors connected to electric generator. Inlets of chambers of both housings 1 are formed under floats 28 and communicated with reservoirs 3 by water conduits, which are buried under housings 1, plugged at ends and equipped with gates 23 connected by rope systems 24 with additional electric motors 26 connected to electric generator.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing high efficiency of operation, simplifying the design and improving operating reliability.
