FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the manufacture of microthermocouples with a working junction formed by welding to form a ball at the junction of the wires, and can be used in the preparation and performance of thermophysical and thermal tests in the construction of aerospace engineering, nuclear energy and metallurgy. Device contains a hopper with graphite powder, a jig with jaws on the tip, an optical binocular microscope, a clip for twisting wires. Tip jaws of the jig are made with copper plates brazed on their inner surfaces with arched ends.
EFFECT: invention provides stable ball sizes and shapes for various wires with minimal manual labor and time.
