FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for the microthermocouples manufacturing with a working junction formed by butt welding and can be used for the rapid production in the laboratory of single or a low volume batches of microthermocouples of various types made of wire with diameter stats from 200 microns and less in the preparation and conduct of thermophysical and thermal tests in conditions of fast-flowing heat exchange processes with significant temperature gradients typical for aerospace engineering, nuclear power engineering and metallurgy. Device provides an accurate axial reduction of the weld ends of the wires under the visual inspection of the binocular microscope and an enlarging digital camera connected to the monitor, and contains an electronic unit for the formation and issuance of adjustable shape, amplitude and duration of the welding pulse.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of the junctions and the efficiency of manufacturing microthermocouples of various types from wires of different diameters under laboratory conditions.
