DEGASSER AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING GAS FROM LIQUID Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D19/00 C02F1/20

Abstract RU 2681911 C1

FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to degassers. Method of removing gas from a liquid flowing through a sequence of chambers in a tank, and wherein the sequence of steam spaces is defined in the chambers above the liquid, this method includes: direction of fluid in the inlet for the reservoir fluid and the flow of fluid through a sequence of chambers formed in the reservoir; direction of the moving fluid in one or more eductors associated with the reservoir; a moving fluid directed to one or more eductors causes movement of the stripping gas to one or more eductors; mixing the moving fluid with the stripping gas in one or more eductors to form the moving fluid - stripping gas mixture; one or more eductors supply the moving fluid - stripping gas mixture to the fluid flowing through the chamber of the tank, and mix the moving fluid - stripping gas with the fluid flowing through the chambers; displacing gas from a fluid flowing through the chambers, and wherein the gas displaced from the liquid flowing through the chambers is mixed with the stripping gas to form a gas mixture; gas mixture rises into the vapor spaces in the chambers; vapor spaces in the chambers are in fluid communication; gas mixture is allowed to flow upstream through a sequence of vapor spaces in such a way that during this process the gas mixture flows from one vapor space downstream to another vapor space upstream; after moving the gas mixture upstream and through a sequence of vapor spaces, releasing the gas mixture from the tank; and when the gas is removed from the liquid, releasing the degassed liquid from the reservoir. Degasser is also disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of a degasser for the removal of gas from liquid waste streams.
