FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics for monitoring the states of rail lines in the approach to crossing areas. Rail circuit contains a power source, limiting resistance, the first choke-transformer, the rail line, the second choke-transformer, the receiving relay, voltage cut-off device, an additional power supply, the first and second matching devices, the inverter, whose output is connected in parallel to the limiting resistance, and its input are connected to the beginning of the rail line through the first matching device, are added to it. By the beginning of the rail line after the crossing, an additional power source is connected through the second matching device, which in turn is connected to the AC network and controlled by the receiving relay via a voltage cutter.
EFFECT: it is possible to increase the reliability of monitoring the condition of the rail lines of the sections of approach to the crossing by ensuring the invariance of the output signal of the rail circuit to a change in the conduction insulation of rail crossing lines in a wide range due to the influence of the conduction insulation of the rail lines on the voltage at the input of the rail circuit of the approximation section.
