FIELD: smoking articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a rigid packet for smoking articles (12), provided with external packaging (14) of the shell-like type and internal packaging (16) containing a group of smoking articles (12). Said external packaging (14) comprises support shell (18) to receive said internal packaging (16) and lid shell (22) hinged to support shell (18), configured to rotate between an open position, in which it allows access to internal packaging (16), and a closed position. Said support shell (18) and (or) said lid shell (22) are provided with one or more lateral box-shaped shoulders (24, 341, 351).
EFFECT: external packaging comprises a support shell to receive the internal packaging and a lid shell hinged to the support shell, configured to rotate between an open position, in which it allows access to the internal packaging, and a closed position.
