FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when installing auxiliary elements on the outer sides of internal combustion engines. Engine mounting system comprises element (305) with two upper flanges (315) and two lower flanges and a mounting structure. Mounting structure comprises upper bracket (301) having a semicircular groove and a stem-like opening. Groove contains a thrust protrusion that is located at an acute angle from a horizontal plane formed by the lower edge of the groove. Mounting structure further comprises lower bracket (302) located vertically below upper bracket (301). Lower bracket (302) has a semicircular groove and a stem-like opening with a closed section. First connector (319) is inserted through two upper flanges (305). Rod of first connector (319) is arranged to be arranged in the groove of upper bracket (301) after inserting first connector (319) through two upper flanges (315) for hanging element (305) from upper bracket (301). Rod is held in place in the groove of upper bracket (301) by the angle of the protrusion. Second connector is inserted through two lower flanges and lower bracket (302) when first connector (319) is hung from upper bracket (301). Method for mounting the element on the engine and the mounting structure for the engine mounting system are disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result is to simplify the installation of an auxiliary element on the engine and to increase the reliability of element fixation relative to the engine.
