FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry, namely to devices for drying lump wood. Wood dryer comprises an air duct located in the thickness of wood being dried, and a gas induction system. Duct is made in the form of a pipe and is installed vertically, at the lower end of the duct there are windows for the movement of gases, wherein the air duct is lined with logs in bulk in the form of a cone, at the upper end of which the gas induction system is installed above the cone of logs.
EFFECT: invention should provide the intensification of the air or gas movement in the center of the cone.
