FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to a rechargeable pack intended for storing therein and charging an e-cigarette. Package contains a pack battery; first connector, which is electrically connected to an external power source; first recharging mechanism for recharging the pack battery using the external power source when the first connector is electrically connected to the external power source; tube into which an e-cigarette is inserted, so that the e-cigarette can be contained within the rechargeable pack; second connector that is electrically connected to the e-cigarette when the e-cigarette is inserted into the tube; and a second recharging mechanism for recharging the e-cigarette using the pack battery when the e-cigarette is electrically connected to the second connector. Second recharging mechanism is designed to provide protection against the pack battery supplying excessive current through the second connector. Recharging mechanism is also configured to determine an output voltage of the battery and prevent the battery from recharging if the output voltage of the battery is above a predetermined threshold level, moreover, said predetermined threshold level is below the maximum level of the output voltage of the battery.
EFFECT: increased safety and reliability in the e-cigarette operation with the rechargeable pack.
