FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: dynamic brake includes a housing, inside which there is a drive shaft and a reduction gear synchronously distributing rotation in opposite directions. Two shells are rigidly fixed on the body so that their profiles coincide with each other. On output shafts of reduction gear rigidly fixed holders, in which symmetrically relative to each other are rigidly fixed at least two rods in such a way that they could exit beyond contour of shells, weighting materials are placed on rods so that they can freely move along rods inside shells, from holder to shell and back, and if necessary they could rotate around their own center. Profile of shells is chosen so that condition is provided, at which ratio of maximum and minimum stroke of weighting materials inside shells is in range from 1.1 to 11. In the perpendicular direction, the center of rotation of the holders is located in the middle of the chord of the shells passing through this center.
EFFECT: high efficiency of braking system is achieved.
