FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular to braking equipment, and is intended for non-frictional braking of vehicles. Dynamic brake contains a body inside which there is a drive shaft and a gear system synchronously distributing the rotational motion in opposite directions. Two shells are rigidly fixed on the body in such a way that their geometric centers coincide with each other and do not coincide with the center of rods rotation. On the output shafts of the gear system guide holders are rigidly fixed, inside which freely moving rods are placed, the trajectory of which is determined by the profile of the shell from the condition that all the chords of its circle passing through the center of rods rotation are equal to each other. Weighting materials are firmly attached to the ends of the rods.
EFFECT: high efficiency of braking system is achieved.
