SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a breathable film comprising a thermoplastic polymer and a surface-treated filler material product comprising a treatment layer comprising one mono-substituted succinic anhydride and/or one mono-substituted succinic acid and/or salty reaction product(s) thereof, a process for producing the surface-treated filler, and the use of the surface-treated filler in production of breathable films.
EFFECT: use of the surface-treated filler material product comprising a treatment layer comprising a mono-substituted succinic anhydride and/or one mono-substituted succinic acid, and/or salty reaction product(s) thereof in breathable films allows producing breathable films characterized by good breathability, good processing characteristics and a reduced potential of skin irritation.
