FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of treating waste water from arsenic. Method involves contacting the solution in static conditions with a sorbent in form of rutile subjected to mechanical activation to crystal size less than 20 nm. Contact of the solution with the sorbent is carried out in ultrasound treatment in frequency range 30–35 kHz, pH 1–1.5 and weight ratio of arsenic to titanium dioxide of not more than 1:100.
EFFECT: invention reduces cleaning time with high degree of arsenic absorption.
