FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dispersion which contains (A) at least one compound of formula (I), in which R1 is H, C1-C4 alkyl, CH2CH2OH or CH2CH(CH3)OH, (B) a polymer binder which is a homopolymer or copolymer of olefinically unsaturated monomers, and (C) water. Described also is use of the compound of formula (I) as a surface-active component in dispersions and a method of reducing separation of aqueous and solid phases of dispersions which contain a polymer binder material, which is a homopolymer or copolymer of olefinically unsaturated monomers while stirring. Dispersions according to the invention are suitable for obtaining coatings of all types. Dispersions are especially suitable for producing colored coatings and emulsion paints, varnishes based on dispersions and pressure sensitive glues.
.
EFFECT: providing dispersions with low volatile organic substances, odorless, from renewable starting materials as neutralizing and stabilizing reagents for aqueous dispersions; water-dispersion paints using a dispersion provide a comparable profile of properties with respect to viscosity, wet abrasion and stability during repeated freezing, provide a lower degree of syneresis compared to comparative amines.
