FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of producing a water-fuel emulsion based on normal and degraded fuel oils, used oils, diesel and furnace fuel and oil refining wastes, which can be used on heat and power boilers, stations, hot-water boilers, engines for sea and river vessels. Proposed unit comprises interconnected pump and ultrasonic generator at initial and final stages of emulsion production. Output of ultrasonic generator of final stage is connected to inlet of pump unit of final stage by bypass pipeline with valve. Between the initial and final steps of the emulsion preparation, an additional processing step is carried out, comprising a series-connected hydraulically interconnected vessel for the treated emulsion, a pump and an ultrasonic generator. A moisture meter is installed between the container for the treated emulsion and the pump of the additional stage.
EFFECT: plant provides the possibility of processing oil-containing wastes and extraction of heavy viscous oil from bituminous sands, as well as higher quality of water-fuel emulsion.
