SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to metal forming and can be used in manufacture of products from a parent sheet. Punching device comprising a punch, matrix, clamp located on the side of the punch, and a clamp located on the side of the matrix are used. Parent sheet is clamped between the clamps. Then, the punch and matrix are brought closer to each other, ensuring that the parent sheet is clamped between them to obtain a stamped product from it. There is no contact of the sheet surface with the matrix and clamp located on the side of the matrix in the area between the contact of the sheet with the lower side area of the matrix and its contact with the clamp located on the side of the matrix. Edge of the surface holding the sheet from the side of the punch, located near the side area of the punch, is flush with the specified side area or is offset from the specified side area into the depth of the punch.
EFFECT: result is higher accuracy of the products obtained.
