FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and production line for the manufacture of stamped parts. Stamped part comprises an upper panel, vertical walls and edges between the vertical walls and the upper panel, and a part with a changing shape in the part of the edges. Method of manufacturing a stamped part includes a preparatory step, consisting in the preparation of a metal sheet as a starting material, and the step of stamping, which consists in performing stamping on the source material using a punch, a support element located opposite the front end surface of the punch, and a matrix configured to receive the support element. Stamping step involves holding the support member in position at a predetermined distance from the punch during a period of time, starting from pushing the starting material into the die by the punch or immediately thereafter, until the punch pushing relative to the die reaches a predetermined distance around the lower dead center for the push, adoption of the support element in the matrix, when pushing the punch relative to the die reaches a predetermined distance near the bottom dead center, and the continuation of pushing the punch relative to the matrix and the support element to the bottom dead center in order to form the upper panel, edges and vertical walls.

EFFECT: result is a reduction in the occurrence of cracks in the region of the part with a changing shape and twisting of the vertical walls.
