SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing a hot-rolled sheet of pure titanium for cold rolling. Method of manufacturing a hot-rolled sheet of pure titanium for cold rolling includes hot rolling a slab of pure titanium to form a sheet while winding it into a roll and annealing the hot-rolled sheet coiled into a roll. Winding temperature during hot rolling is 500 °C or less. Annealing is carried out at temperature and exposure, providing in the microstructure of hot-rolled sheet 90 % or more of the area of recrystallized grains with an average diameter of recrystallized grains of 5–10 microns.

EFFECT: edge cracks are prevented during cold rolling.
