Device for heating a smoking material in order to evaporate at least one component of this smoking material comprises a heating zone for receiving the product, containing a smoking material and a heating material capable of heating under the action of a varying magnetic field penetrating it and heating the smoking material; and a magnetic field generator to create a varying magnetic field penetrating into the heating zone, containing a magnetically permeable core and a coil, the core contains a magnetically permeable first part and magnetically permeable first and second side branches, continuing the first part, the coil being wound around the first part of the core, and the first and second side branches of the core are located on different sides of the heating zone.
