SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making an article which comprises a heater for heating smoking material for evaporation of at least one component of said smoking material, comprising steps of determining a maximum temperature to which a heater is to be heated when in use; and providing presence of heater containing heating material, capable of heating during passage of varying magnetic field, wherein the Curie temperature of the heating material is selected based on the determined maximum temperature, wherein provision is made for a smoking material heating device for evaporation of at least one component of said smoking material, wherein the device comprises a heating zone for receiving an article comprising a smoking material, a heater for heating the heating zone and a magnetic field generator for creating a variable magnetic field penetrating into the heating material; wherein the maximum temperature to which the heater can be heated during use due to the varying magnetic field penetrating therein is determined only by the curie temperature of the heating material.
