FIELD: control systems; gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and method for controlling the operation modes of an underground gas storage (UGS) facility as part of an integrated automated process control system for an underground gas storage facility. UGS mode management system interacts with automated process control systems installed in UGS facilities, and carries out real-time information collection from these systems in the amount necessary for updating the permanently operating geological and technological 3D model and the subsequent support for making decisions on the operating mode of the UGS. Mode control method includes: integration of the UGS regime management system with the integrated UGS technological process control system for updating the models of the surface and underground complexes; update of a permanently operating 3D geological and technological model of an underground gas storage facility; ensuring the choice of the optimal mode of UGS from the point of view of the underground complex; ensuring the choice of the optimal mode of UGS from the point of view of the ground complex; assessment of the possibility of supplying gas to the main gas pipeline; issuing recommendations to the dispatcher and geologist on the possibility of performing the dispatch task and on the modes of operation of the UGS equipment.
EFFECT: group of inventions is intended to support the personnel of the dispatching and geological services of the UGS management in making operational decisions on the operating modes of the UGS and its individual wells.
