FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment. Method for detecting a measurement region in a substrate, which is made in the form of a floor, or wall, or ceiling, and detecting objects that are embedded in the substrate by means of equipment comprising a detector device with a detection field, a location device and a control device. First step comprises selecting the measurement region to be detected with starting position (Eul) and coordinates (Eul, Eol, Eor, Eur), wherein the dimensions of the measurement region to be detected are larger than the detection field of the detector device. At the second step, the current position (Pakt) of the detector device is determined by the location device. At the third step, the current detection field is determined by the control device based on the current position (Pakt) of the detector device. At the fourth step, the control device compares the starting position of the measurement region to be detected with the current detection field.

EFFECT: development of a method for detecting a measurement region in a substrate.
